We care about our clients and help them with all areas of Family Law, such as separation, divorce, custody, alimony and child support.

Criminal Defense is another main practice area at The Law Corner. Our attorneys can also help with estate planning, contract law & litigation, collection and small claims matters.
What's in a Name? The Law Corner

The word "Corner" is used to let you know that we will stand by your side, in your corner, and when necessary, aggressively represent your interests. We value integrity and we will always have your best interest in mind and will serve you in an open, honest and respectable manner. We care about the needs of our clients and are careful to learn what our clients care most about in our initial consultation.

The puzzle piece is symbolic. Each client faces different legal issues and presents their own factual situation. In essence, each case or client's situation is like a puzzle that the attorney needs to put back together. A piece of the puzzle may be a pertinent fact, a rule of law, a cause of action, a defense or any number of legal issues. When before a judge, jury, drafting a document or just representing your best interest, a good lawyer is methodically putting those pieces together in a way that best serves his client.

"The Law Corner" is the trade name for The Demidovich Law Firm, PLLC. We are located at 211 E. Six Forks Road Building C Suite 205 in Raleigh, North Carolina and our attorneys serve Wake and Durham County. At The Law Corner, we serve you in the following ways:

Integrity. We always act in the best interest of our clients.

Contact. We represent your best interest by having continuous contact with you. Our pledge is to return phone calls and to reply to e-mails within 24 hours.

Meetings. We meet with you as often as our schedule permits and always on an emergency basis whether it's a weekday or weekend, day or night. We will even meet you in your home, office or at a coffee shop.

Updates. Once you become a client, we will decide how and how often you are updated about your case.

Billing. We bill monthly and as low as one tenth on an hour, a 6 minute increment, allowing you to get the most for your money.

The Law Corner
Brian Demidovich

Brian Demidovich is the Managing Member of The Law Corner. Brian has lived in Raleigh, North Carolina since January 2001 when he started his legal career in corporate contract, merger and acquisition law with SpectraSite Communications in Cary, NC. After three years of uncertainty with SpectraSite 's future, Brian and two attorneys decided to form a law practice together where Brian focused on matters involving all areas of family law, general contract litigation, traffic and estate planning. Of the three attorneys, Brian was known as "the one who goes to court". After a couple years, Brian decided to branch off on his own and take control of his own destiny and The Law Corner was created in October 2006.

When Brian was a second year law student he worked for a small law firm until he graduated in December 2000. The firm focused entirely on family law and Brian was the senior partner's law clerk. The firm was all about litigation. Brian drafted discovery & motions, prepared subpoenas, interviewed witnesses, compiled trial notebooks and he sat second chair in the courtroom often. Brian describes this time as a grueling and invaluable experience. He says "they pushed me further than I thought I could go, I will always remember my clerkship and be grateful for the tools that I acquired early in my career." With Brian's earlier work experience in social work behind him, he says "Family law comes natural to me, I understand what they are going through and what they need. Sometimes it has nothing to do with being a lawyer. You have to wear many hats."

Brian's litigation experience began his second year of law school as described above. It just so happened to be in the area of family law. When Brian and his two former partners joined forces, Brian was the firms "court house attorney" and took over all of the firms litigation. Brian is very comfortable in the courtroom. He doesn't mind if he spends the majority of the day in the courthouse. He says that he would be described by his colleagues as an attorney who takes a no nonsense approach to his cases. He thoroughly knows the facts, understands the law and is a strong advocate in the courtroom, especially on cross examination. There is nothing like a good trial, the strategy, the stress, the adrenaline and execution.

Estate planning is an area that Brian took a particular interest in law school. He devotes most of his time in self education in estate planning and family law. Brian firmly knows that everyone needs affordable estate planning and more needs to be done in educating the public about estate planning.

If you want to know more about Brian, please give him a call. He is an open-minded person and a straight shooter with his advice and opinions. You will enjoy your time with him.
