He was also a member of the Michigan State Law Review, where he honed his legal research and writing skills. Neil also spent a full year as a clinician with the Alvin L. Storrs Tax Clinic, negotiating with and frequently winning his positions against the IRS and state-level tax agencies. His undergraduate degree is from Washington & Jefferson College, a small school just south of Pittsburgh. At W&J, he earned a B.A. in Economics, with an emphasis in Financial Economics and a minor in Mathematics.
Neil utilizes his tailored training in corporate law, commercial law, and finance to competently advise the firm's clients in various types of business disputes. His background affords him a unique ability to advise clients about often unforeseen consequences of their decisions from both a legal and business standpoint.
As a pragmatist, he seeks to avoid expanding litigation unnecessarily, streamlines all of his cases, and tries only the operative claims to avoid additional expenses to the client. Neil enjoys continued success trying cases with his partner, Jennifer Roskamp.
