Immigration Universe is managed by Ileana Rivera. She has ten years of experience specializing exclusively in immigration cases. Her philosophy is to provide an honest assessment and the best options for your immigration process.
Ileana earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Puerto Rico. In 2013, she earned her Juris Doctor from Interamerican University and became a member of the Puerto Rico Bar and the U.S. District Court. Her legal experience is diverse. She practiced criminal defense with the Public Defender’s Office, clerked for a U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge, and interned at the Interamerican University Legal Clinic. Most notably, she spent two years working for the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico, where she created and implemented an educational program to inform visitors about the judicial system and the history of the Supreme Court. Since then, she has managed and owned several law firms and currently manages Immigration Universe Attorneys, where she practices U.S. Immigration Law across the United States and its territories. She is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and provides CLE courses for the members.
Ileana is fluent in both English and Spanish.
