Patrick attained a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of California at San Diego, and Juris Doctor from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, also in San Diego, California. During school he clerked for a boutique immigration law firm and later one of the busiest estate planning firms in California, where he focused on business and family immigration, estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
After graduating from law school and being admitted to the California State Bar, Patrick moved to Orange, California, where he gained diverse experience in matters ranging from family law to probate at a mid-sized firm adjacent to Angel Stadium.
In 2014, Patrick moved to Reno to be closer to family after the birth of his first son. For next five years, Patrick represented the University of Nevada, Reno, the Nevada System of Higher Education, the Desert Research Institute, and the University of Nevada Schools of Medicine in complex business immigration matters involving professors and researchers. Patrick is now dually licensed in Nevada and California.
Patrick and his wife love living in Reno with their three young sons, where they enjoy visiting local parks, Lake Tahoe, playing in the snow, and exploring the great outdoors.
