He was trained at the National Trial Advocacy Center in South Carolina, as well as the Maryland Young Prosecutors School. He was invited and successfully "survived" Top Gun, a specialized program by Maryland State Police in drug possession, distribution, handguns and undercover operations. He later became a Senior State's Attorney in Carroll County and served for a time as the District Court Supervisor. He has received yearly training in the updated Maryland criminal laws, as well as training local police. Mr. Grote successfully completed the Maryland State Police Advanced Collision Investigation training. Mr. Grote puts those experiences to good use by providing quality representation that he customizes for every client.
