Brandon is a native of Hampton, Tennessee. Brandon spent his formative years in East Tennessee. Brandon attended East Tennessee State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Legal Studies. While in college, Brandon was the President of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. While attending East Tennessee State University, Brandon received several academic awards, including being honored on the Dean’s List on multiple occasions.

After college, Brandon attended Charlotte School of Law in Charlotte, North Carolina where he obtained his Juris Doctorate. While attending Charlotte School of Law, Brandon participated in the Rural Lawyering Capstone Project where he assessed and addressed the legal needs of the citizens of Cleveland County, North Carolina. Also, while attending Charlotte School of Law, Brandon interned for the County Attorney’s Office for Gaston County, North Carolina and interned for the District Attorney’s Office for the First Judicial District of Tennessee, which encompasses Carter, Johnson, Washington, and Unicoi counties.

After being sworn in to practice law in 2016, Brandon began his practice in Greeneville, Tennessee as a solo practitioner. In February of 2018, Brandon formed the law firm of Foster and Potter, PC. with Greeneville, Tennessee native, Robert Foster. In 2020, this later became Baker Foster Potter, PC, when current partner Chase Baker joined the Firm. Brandon has been recognized as Top 40 Under 40 by The National Trial Lawyers.
