Representation of debtors and creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings, with over 300 cases filed.
The decision to consider a bankruptcy filing is not an easy one. I understand that and have approached each case with the recognition of the emotional strain that life changes and financial difficulties cause in people's lives.
During my initial free consultation, I get pertinent information to provide reasoned advice concerning options to alleviate debt, save assets from repossession or foreclosure, deal with pending lawsuits and move forward with a fresh start.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to bankruptcy. Each case requires and deserves consideration of all the options. But for many clients, a bankruptcy filing is the most appropriate option.
I look forward to the opportunity to hear if my services may be of assistance.
Financial difficulties can befall anyone. Many clients who at times need representation in a real estate purchase or for drafting a will, may at another time find that debt or other financial obligations are too burdensome to manage. While bankruptcy is only one approach to such issues, having an experience bankruptcy attorney as part of our firm's practice has been a valuable asset to our clients.
I have come to the practice of law from an unconventional path. In Vermont one may become and attorney by apprenticing with a licensed lawyer for four years and documenting one's studies and experience. This option afforded me the ability to learn about the real practice of law. I worked on many different types of cases in a wide variety of practice areas.
